| Gregory C. Belmont, Managing Partner,
is an experienced investor, technologist, and start-up strategist.
He has led a dozen private equity investments, served on the Boards of several start-up companies (including ventures acquired by NASDAQ:EBIX and NYSE:BKS and spun-out of NYSE:HLS), and has bootstrapped several successful start-ups (including one of the internet's first subscription-based online consumer services).
Earlier in his business career, Mr. Belmont advised biotechnology and communication companies on growth strategies while working with prominent advisory firms (Arthur D. Little, Mercer Management Consulting, and The Wilkerson Group, now part of IBM) and worked briefly as quantitative security trader for one of the first and oldest hedge funds.
Mr. Belmont completed advanced graduate studies in computational neuroscience and business at MIT as an Office of Naval Research Fellow and is a graduate of Harvard College where he won a national rowing championship.
